Shaping the Future of Autoimmune Therapies Summit

Join us for an exclusive in-person event bringing together leading researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to foster collaboration, discover potential funding opportunities and drive innovation in the field of autoimmune disorders.

By uniting expertise and resources, we can accelerate the development of new therapies and enhance the quality of life for millions of patients worldwide.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect, share insights, and shape the future of autoimmune treatment!

Background:

Nearly 5% of the population, which translates to approximately 15 million people are affected by autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis and type 1 diabetes. Despite significant advancements in understanding autoimmune diseases, the exact causes remain elusive. Research suggests a complex interplay of genetic, environmental, and immunological factors. Symptoms can vary widely, often making diagnosis and treatment challenging.

Current research in autoimmune disorders is focused on unraveling the underlying mechanisms of these diseases. Scientists are exploring new diagnostic methods, potential treatments, and preventive strategies. However, the complexity of autoimmune diseases necessitates more extensive scientific inquiry, increased funding, and robust partnerships to address the unmet needs of patients.

This year’s Eshelman Innovation Summit aims to bring together leading researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to foster collaboration and drive innovation in the field of autoimmune disorders. By pooling resources and expertise, we can accelerate the development of new therapies and improve the quality of life for millions of patients worldwide. We hope that you will join us for this in-person event.

Goals:

  • Foster collaboration by bringing together leading researchers, clinicians, industry partners, and patient advocates to share knowledge, insights, and best practices.
  • Highlight innovations by showcasing the latest advancements in autoimmune disease research
  • Identify research gaps by discussing current challenges and unmet needs in the field to identify key areas where further research and funding are needed
  • Promote funding opportunities by encouraging investment in autoimmune disease research by highlighting the potential impact of new discoveries on patient outcomes and healthcare costs

Audience:

We are bringing together a diverse audience of leading researchers, clinicians, industry partners, patient advocates, and policymakers, all dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of autoimmune disorders.
